Important Note

• Always use slings with label and care instructions facing outwards, so that correct side of sling is used.
• Always position centre of sling at centre of clients back, and as low as possible at bottom of spine, slightly tucking under buttocks.
• Always check Safe Working Load of Lifter and Sling, Use lesser of two as maximum Safe Working Load.

Amputee Sling

The Amputee sling is designed to give comfortable support for a uni-lateral or bi-lateral amputee where conventional slings are inappropriate. Made from 100% polyester Mesh allows the sling to conform to the clients body , weight distribution is evenly spread throughout the back section, helping to prevent stump spasms.
